Q: Where should I begin if I’m new to yoga or to your studio?
A: We recommend you start with our two week intro pass and try out a little of everything we offer! If you are a beginner, you are welcome in any class, every pose can be modified. (You can read more about our class styles HERE).

If you have specific concerns, limitations, or would just like to see our space and meet us beforehand, give us a call! We’d love to chat. We also offer private lessons which can be excellent for beginners or those recovering from an injury/surgery.

Q: What should I bring?
A: We recommend you bring a yoga mat, water, and any other props you like to practice with. If you are from out of town we have plenty of yoga mats available to borrow at no additional charge. We also have a few extra props (blankets, bolsters, blocks) that are available first come, first serve.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Litchfield (Pawleys Island) inside Stox & Company, The Salon at Mingo. (225 Willbrook Blvd, Pawleys Island) When you turn into the parking lot, drive to the back. Stox & Co’s Salon is on the left when you’re looking at the pond. (Don’t get confused, there’s a Stox & Co. Spa across the street!)

When you arrive, head in the front door and directly up the steps, you’ll see a big, beautiful red door — that’s us!

Q: Do I have to register ahead of time?
/Can I walk-in?
A: We welcome walk-ins, drop-ins, vacationers, and anyone who wants to try out a yoga class! Online registration is not required, just try to arrive a little early to get signed up with our team.

Q: How early can I arrive?
A: The teacher will arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class time. Because we are located inside the salon, if it is during their regular business hours, you can head on in and check out the boutique while you wait. If class is after hours, just be aware the front door will be locked until the teacher arrives.

Please note: During after hours classes we do lock the front door at the start of class time.

Q: Can I purchase passes through Stox & Co./Check on my passes with the front desk?
A: All yoga services provided by Homegrown Yoga can only be purchased through us. Any questions regarding our services, your passes/membership, classes, etc should be directed to Matt or Maggie via phone, email or in-person.

We also offer online booking/purchasing where you can see the current status of your pass/membership.

Q: How do I become a member?/Can I purchase it online?
A: Love doing yoga with us? GREAT! Membership is the best bang for your buck. Membership is our only purchase option that is not available for purchase online.

We require all prospective members to complete a two week intro pass and the free 30-minute private in order to get signed up. This ensures that membership is the best fit! Your first month of membership is often prorated. This also allows our team to make sure your autopay is set up correctly on your preferred payment method.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS:
In the case of inclement weather or staff unavailability, classes and events are subject to change with limited notice at Homegrown Yoga’s discretion. We aim to notify those registered for a class of any cancellations via email at least one hour prior to class start time. We also will make any announcements of schedule changes on our social media platforms and mark classes as cancelled on our online scheduling software. If you are uncertain about the status of a class, please call or text us at 843.485.5668.

Our online schedule is the best way to stay informed on the current schedule. Visit our website HERE for instructions on how to create an account, book a class, and see the schedule with the WellnessLiving app or website.
